Trump Names Madrid the Safest City in the World During Crime Speech

WASHINGTON – US President Donald Trump has described Madrid as the safest city in the world, citing its low homicide rate as a model for urban security. Speaking at a press conference, Trump announced the federal government would immediately assume control of Washington DC’s police force to address “out of control” crime. A White House chart ranked Washington highest for homicides among selected cities, with Madrid lowest.
